Marlborough Winery

Built in 2004, our Marlborough Winery forms part of a unique pod winery system that allows up to 4 Marlborough Wineries to process their harvest at any one time. The winery is designed to manage multiple varieties from different regions and has a crush capacity of around 2,200 tons. The holding capacity of the winery is around two million litres.

Our dedicated team at the winery is led by Nadine Worley, who also helps with vineyard selection and market development; ensuring loyal Mud House fans, the trade and the media are all well-informed about our premium Mud House Wines.

Forming our talented Marlborough based winemaking duo is Nadine Worley and Jonny Garrett, who work together on a daily basis. Nadine enjoys working with the individuality of each vineyard (both company owned and contracted). Their philosophy is to allow the vineyards to express themselves. With sauvignon blanc this is achieved through minimum intervention and with pinot noir through individual vineyard selection and single estate bottling.

Nadine oversees and manages the day-to-day running of the winery. Jonny looks after the large number of enthusiastic pressers and plungers, from all over the world, who help us with the labour-intensive periods of each vintage.
