Perfect flowering and fruit set weather during the latter part of 2007 combined with near normal summer conditions in January through to March 2008 created what is going to be a record crop tonnage wise. Although the yields are way higher than "normal" the physiological ripening of the grapes was in accordance. An extremely enjoyable vintage, quality Bendigo Pinot Noir was harvested and a wee parcel of Riesling and Pinot Gris. We are all very happy with the huge achievement, great work load done by all of the hand pickers over 1/3 of the yield was picked by hand
