Marlborough Vineyard

The superbly pungent and invigorating fruit flavours of the wines from the first Marlborough Vineyards, in particular sauvignon blanc, caught the attention of New Zealand’s winemakers, as well as international wine commentators and consumers. Mud House Marlborough Vineyard is part of New Zealand’s largest wine region.

Marlborough vineyards are primarily located within the Wairau Valley and south-east into the smaller, slightly cooler Awatere Valley. More recent planting has also taken place on the southern-side valleys of the Wairau, at Fairhall, Hawkesbury and Waihopai.
