The fruit for this wine comes from the eastern end of Rapaura Road, where bony braided river soils meet alluvial and younger silt soils. The convergence of soil profiles gives an overt lift and pungency to Sauvignon Blanc, while adding crunchy phenolic texture.
We live amongst the vineyards in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. For us it’s all about lifestyle. We’re lucky to enjoy the simple things from the land; like fresh crayfish, scallop season and wild venison.
