Rich and lingering aromatics of pear, fresh fig and a touch of cinnamon spice. A luscious and focused Pinot Gris.

Comments
The grapes were hand picked at optimal flavour ripeness, gently pressed and settled to tank. The wine was then fermented with a handful of selected yeast strains. A portion was fermented in old French oak barrels resulting in complexity and structure. The wine was then left to mature on gross yeast lees to enhance structure and mouthfeel. The wine was fined, filtered and bottled on 28 February 2017.

We’re lucky to enjoy the simple things from the land; like fresh crayfish, scallop season and wild venison. The South Island of New Zealand covers over 151,215km2 ofrugged mountains, lakes, glaciers, ski fields and rivers. As proud guardians of the land our iconic vineyards are located in some of New Zealand's defining wine regions: Marlborough, Central Otago and the Waipara Valley. Each location has been selected with care and foresight; and as a result we aim to interfere as little as possible once the grapes arrive in the hands of the winemakers. Each vintage we create a portfolio of pure, expressive, balanced, vibrant and honest wines.
