A textural wine with ripe pear, quince and sweet spice aromas. The front palate is full and juicy and finishes with fresh acidity and a touch of fruit...
VITICULTURE & WINEMAKING
OUR WINE MAKERS
Nadine Worley
Winemaker
Originally from South Australia, Nadine studied oenology for four years at Adelaide University. After completing her degree, she began her career in Australia working with cool climate varietals in Victoria and the Adelaide Hills before spending two vintages at a family winery in Italy.
A preference for cool climate winemaking led Nadine to Marlborough where she has been since 2006. During this time at Mud House Nadine has been promoted from Assistant Winemaker to Winemaker and completed a vintage in Oregon, USA.
Sauvignon blanc is one of Nadine's favourite to drink and craft. She talks of there being nothing better than the smell of a perfect sauvignon blanc ferment.
“Lift the lid on the tank and behind the yeast will be pungent aromas of passionfruit and guava. That’s when you know it’s going to be good.”
