Comments
The 2013 season started with a tickle of frost, but luckily only a few hectares saw damage. The season continued with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, and a spot of rain along the way. There was a fantastic balance between canopy growth and fruit loading and we had only to remove late fruit, to set the vines up for harvest. Harvest began a little latter than usual on the 5th of April. Typical dark fruit, plum and dried herb Bendigo flavours were evident in the fruit as it ripened and berries maintained good integrity.
