Mud House is a proud sponsor of the Marlborough Flyer steam train. A historic World War 1 memorial locomotive, the Passchendaele (1915) was given new life in 2017 when it was brought to Marlborough as a tourist train. Departing the beautiful port town of Picton, the train carries passengers through the valleys and rivers to arrive in Blenheim, heart of the region’s wine country. Voted ‘Top 10 – Best Train Journey in Australasia’ by The Telegraph UK 2018, it is the only way to travel when you visit Marlborough. The train is a highlight for cruise ships passengers who spend the day in Marlborough. For more information on the train click here.
