MUD HOUSE WINES hasn’t got to where it is by sheer luck, meet the people behind the success.

Baden Ngan-Kee – Chief Executive Officer

Baden Ngan-Kee

Chief Executive Officer

A peek into Baden’s past reveals an excellent balance of liquor and wine expertise, more than a hint of chocolate and a touch of dairy products experience. He brings to MUD HOUSE immense sales and marketing wisdom, supported by refreshing ideas and a crisp, businesslike approach.

Baden enjoys the variety that comes with his MUD HOUSE role, particularly the diversity of people that he works with. With three children in the nest, he doesn’t have a lot of time for outside interests. However, he’s partial to a nice glass of Waipara riesling.

Sam Lynds - Sales Director

Sam Lynds

Sales Director

Originally an FMCG man, Sam has very successfully grafted himself onto the wine industry. He enjoys the MUD HOUSE culture for its quick-thinking agility, which makes it easier for him to seize good opportunities as soon as they appear. He believes that MUD HOUSE wines have an inbuilt advantage, because each reflects the viticultural strengths of the region it’s grown in.

Sam admits to an obsession with fishing, particularly the big game variety. Trailing a line for Marlin in Waihau Bay is his idea of a great day out. And when it comes to wine, he’s hooked on Central Otago pinot noir.

Sean Kirk – Chief Finance Officer

Sean Kirk

Chief Finance Officer

The challenging British climate helped to produce a finance officer with flexibility, character and a nose for profit. Before transplanting his family to New Zealand, Sean had a lively taste of management consulting experience, backed up by a maturing development period in the beer industry.

Sean says that while finance roles are usually quite routine, working at MUD HOUSE is far from boring. Juggling the financial aspects of multiple projects keeps his skills in top shape. The father of three teenage girls, he enjoys the stress-releasing qualities of MUD HOUSE’s aromatics. Riesling is his grape of choice.

Sasha d’Entremont – Marketing Manager

Sasha d’Entremont

Marketing Manager

As anybody who has met her knows, Sasha has the energy, enthusiasm and strategic abilities required to sell ice to Eskimos. Equipped with qualifications in media communications and marketing, she has devoted the greater part of her career to the world of wine, including several years in the Australian wine industry.

While Sasha thoroughly enjoys the international aspects of her MUD HOUSE role, some of her fondest memories involve a bottle of un-oaked chardonnay and a MUD HOUSE concert. In her opinion, the Brooke Fraser/Anika Moa/Goldenhorse show was “the best”.
